Possessive Individualism is the idea that the world is owned by individual people and that these individuals all manage themselves. Possessive Individualism was also one of the basic principles of the modern west when it came to interacting with nature. The attitudes of the western people towards nature had changed greatly since they had been looked at through the eyes of the eastern civilizations. A political philosopher named C. B. Macpherson also made a novel about possessive individualism named "The Political Theory of Possessive Individualism: Hobbes to Locke."
