Physical Geography is a part of the area of understanding called geography, which is "the study of natural and human constructed phenomena relative to a spatial dimension" (source 1). Physical Geography is a certain branch of geography that deals with natural part of earth. Physical geography examines the four spheres: the Atmosphere, Biosphere, Hydrosphere, and Lithosphere and the degeneration therein. These spheres entail the air, the plants and animals, water, and the physical land of earth respectively. It is important to know about Physical Geography because Earth's natural processes affect human processes such as distribution of resources and condition of human settlement. Physical geography focuses on the landscapes at the surface of the earth. Each and every place on earth has characteristics that define them, differentiate them, and symbolize them. For example, landforms like mountains, the plants and animals, and climate are all Physical characteristics of a place. Physical Geography is the study of all things involving the Atmosphere, Biosphere, Hydrosphere, and Lithosphere.
