| − | The Aurignacions were one of the first cultures to innovate technology greatly. They were the first culture to make tools in order to make other tools. A micro-flint is a little knife about three quarters of an inch long. This may not deem like much to someone but as you can see in the first picture, they were extremely small. They were used to make little indentations in the tools that they were making. For example they made micro-flints so that they could use the micro flints to make things like spears. The would use tools to make the simple cuts and the micro-flints were used to make indentations like shown in the second picture.
