Also known as Brahma.

Role as a God

Bramha is the creator god, a component of the trio of powerful gods along with Shiva and Vishnu. He is the creator of the world and all living beings, he is not worshipped much today, because his role is over as creation has ended, and it is up to Vishnu to sustain the universe.

Creator God

Brahma has as consort, Saraswati, the goddess of music and knowledge, in order to give him energy to create. He is shown with more than two arms because the gods were perceived as powerful, so they must have been able to do more than one thing at once with so many arms.
