Thutmose III was the sixth ruler of the 18th dynasty. For the first twenty years of his reign, he was assisted by his stepmother, but once she died he took the throne for himself. Thutmose III is most famous for all of his military accomplishments, and is considered to be among the greatest warrior pharaohs Egypt ever had. He created a total of seventeen military campaigns.

Thutmose III's mummy was first found in Deir-el-Bahri, and his tomb can be found in the Valley of the Kings.
