Ka'ba- The Ka'ba is the large black box in Mecca that is the destination of the hajj for Muslim people. It was the destination of Muhammad's first "hajj" in 629 and he made it a holy site. When Muhammed returned to Mecca he destroyed all the idols that were kept in the Ka'ba and designated it as the a site for Muslims.
